Global Membership Team Frequently Asked Questions

Family Volunteer Activities
Volunteering together allows families to share precious time with each other and to pass down values of giving back to the community from one generation to the next.  View the Family Activity List for project ideas on that include families.

Student Member Program
Campus students continue to be a key target group for membership growth as they represent tomorrow’s leaders and bring dynamic new vitality to our association. Learn more about the Student Member Program  and how your club can take advantage of this opportunity for growth.

Boomers Outreach Campaign
This membership initiative largely appeals to the 77 million North American “Baby Boomers,” born between 1946 and 1964. Other countries may have similar population booms for this generation who were born in the 1950’s and 60’s. Boomers have the highest volunteer rate of any age group and are looking for meaningful service opportunities.

Learn how to encourage this “new generation of Lions” to become involved in your Lions club. View the Boomers Campaign Web page for more information.
